Step 1 - Create a Business/Warehouse Manager

Business/Warehouse Manager Definition

The Business/Warehouse Manager is the 3PL (the 3rd Party Logistics) provider. This section provides the user with an overall sight of all the business accounts (companies) and their activities. In addition, the warehouse manager section handles ongoing operations of the warehouse (i.e.: Item Management, Cycle Counting).

 

The Warehouse Manager will have access to all accounts and information concerning the warehouse. 

 

Create a Bussines/Warehouse Manager window will open automatically.

 

General Tab

This tab allows editing details of the Warehouse Manager.

The red markings indicate mandatory fields that must be filled in properly before the Warehouse Manager can be saved.

Business Details

Fill in the Business Details: Name of your Company, Initials, Address, City, Zip Code, Country, State/Region, Office Phone, Fax, Web Page, and Logotype.

Shipping Address    

To use the same address as in the Mailing Address, check the "Same as Mailing Address" box.

To use different address, fill in the specific data: Address, City, Zip Code, Country, and State/Region.

Billing Address

To use the same address as in the Mailing Address, check the "Same as Mailing Address" box.

To use different address, fill in the specific data: Address, City, Zip Code, Country, and State/Region. 

Details Tab 

This tab allows the user to enter additional details about the Warehouse Manager, as well as to add an Alias.

 

Contact details

Fill in the Contact Details (optional): Contact Name, Profession, Department, Title, Office, Birthday, Assistant Name, Manager Name, Mobile Phone, and Valid Email Address. 

Aliases (Assumed names)

To add an alias to a contact, first click on thebutton located at the bottom of the Details inset.

 

The Add/Edit Alias window will open. 

This window allows designating properties of a new alias.   

The red markings indicate mandatory fields that must be filled in properly before the alias can be saved.  

Fill in the Alias Details: Name, Initials, Contact Name, Address, City, Zip Code, Country, State/Region, Office Phone, Mobile Phone, and Office Fax Number.

To set the Alias as Default, check the  box. Then click OK.

The Warehouse Manager window will now have a new alias.

Settings Tab 

This tab allows users to define the display format, default measurement units, and display settings to be used under the system accounts. Settings chosen as “default” will be used as default settings for every account created in the system.  

General

General section allows users to define language to be used for Alerting notifications.

   

Measurement

The Measurement section allows users to define the display format, default measurement units, and display settings to be used under the system.

Choose preferable settings and click on the  button.

To edit a manager, click on the  button located at the top of the window.
