How to Edit an Existing Price List

To edit an existing price listclick the Account window located on the left side of your screen, then click on the View Price Lists link.

Or click the View Price Lists  link in the Financial Management section on the Start Page.

The Price List-All Price Lists  window will open.

 

To edit a price list, select the Price list from the grid and click on the Edit Price List button.

   

The Add/Edit Price List window will open.

This window allows editing the properties of the existing price list. 

General Tab

Allows storing general information concerning the price list. 

 

General Info 

 

No.

The Price List number is assigned by the system. This field cannot be edited or changed.

Entered By

The authority is in charge of entering price list into the system. This field cannot be edited or changed.

Name

This section allows editing the  Name of the Price List.

Make necessary changes. For example:

Default Currency

In this field, you may enter new currency to use in the existing price list. Click on the drop-down arrow and choose the necessary currency from the drop-down list. 

Price List Type

Choose the type of the Price List from the drop-down list. 

Item Type

This field is read-only. The user cannot edit it.

Remarks

In this field, you may add any remarks concerning the current Price List.

 

Price List Duration

 

This section allows determining the period of Price List availability. There are two options: Always visible and Duration.

 

Selecting the Duration option allows assigning time period of the Price List availability.

You may choose the Start Day and the End Day of the Price List. 

 

Item Prices Tab

 

In this tab click on the Add/Edit Items button.

 

The next window will open.

 

 

In the Enter Currency and Price section you may edit the Price of the chosen Item.

 

 

You may choose currency for the chosen item from the drop-down list.

 

 

If you want to remove the entry, click on the Remove Entry button.

 

The open window will ask you to confirm the removing. Click Yes. The Entry will be removed.

 

 

Then click OK.

 

Contact Assignment Tab

 

This tab is used to edit contacts that will use the created Price List. 

 

 

To add contacts to the Active contacts list, select a contact from the Available Contacts list and click on the  button. The contact will be added to the Active Contacts list.

To remove a contact from the list, click on the  button. The contact will be removed from the list.

To add all the contacts to the active contacts, click on the button. All the conacts will be added to the Active Contacts list.

To remove all the active contacts from the list, click on the  button. All the contacts will be removed back to the Available Contacts.    

After all the neccessary data was entered, click on the  button.  

 

After saving the edited Price List, changes will be displayed in the Price List-All Price Lists  window.
