Scheduler

The WMSmart Scheduler tool allows elaborated planning and easy handling of the warehouse order activities and appointments.

The Scheduler contains all Pending Work Orders, Transfer Orders, and Appointments.

On the top of the toolbar, there is a button   that represents the WMSmart Scheduler.

Clicking on the Scheduler button will open the following window:

Calendar

 

The Calendar of the Scheduler is launched at 12:00 p.m. However, the user can scroll through the schedule and choose an appropriate time.

 

Small Calender on the right side of the Scheduler makes it easier to change the date in order to view information of the date chosen.

 

Below the toolbar there is a Date , which indicates that information presented in the grid below refers to that date. Thus, changing the date (whether by clicking  or  , or by changing date via the calendar in the right-top corner) the user gets information of the chosen date.

 

How to Add a New Appointment

 

The Scheduler allows the user to create the appointments.

 

To add an appointment, click Add on the Scheduler toolbar and  choose an Appointment from the drop-down list or press Ctrl+A.

 

 

 

The Appointment window will appear.

 

 

The opened window consists of the Subject, Date and  Start Time fields, and the Reminder box.

In the Subject field the user can enter any name of the appointment.

Moreover, the user can define Date and Start Time of the appointment.

                                                                                

 

 

Checking the Reminder box  allows the WMSmart system to inform the user about the expiry of the appointment (ex.:15 min before the exact time of the deadline).

 

Below the Date and Start Time fields there is a blank field that allows entering remarks if there are any.

 

After you have created an appointment click Ok to save a new appointment or Cancel to cancel the operation.

 

Double-clicking on the Appointment allows editing an appointment, it's Date and Start Time, putting the Reminder and remarks. However, order data will not be changed.

 

Work and Transfer Order Management

 

The user may enter arrival time for each entry. 

 

Select  an order  from  the Calendar and click on it .

 

The following window will appear:

The opened window allows modifying Date and Start Time for each entry.

After you have defined the timing parameters, click Ok to save or Cancel to cancel the operation.

 

For example, if there is a Work Order In with several entries of new items you can define different time for each entry.

In the schedule there will be several appointments on the same day.

 

 

 

If two or more orders are expected to arrive at the same time, the entire list of the entries will be displayed.

 

 

The Scheduler Start Time for Work Order Out is a Shipment Date.

The Scheduler Start Time for Work Order In and Transfer Order is an ETA (Estimated Date/Time of Arrival).

If these values are absent, WO creation date will represent the Start Time in the Scheduler.

 

 

By clicking on the Add button the user can perform the following tasks:

To edit Work or Transfer Order,  select it from your Calendar and click on it.

 

 

Then click on the  button and edit the order.

 

Toolbar Buttons

 

The toolbar contains the following buttons:

 

 - "Previous Day". By clicking on this button the user can view and modify the previous day information (Item creating date, Appointments, Pending Work Orders, Transfer and Repackage Orders). 

 - "Next Day". By clicking on this button the user can view and modify the next day information (Item creating dates, Appointments, Pending Work Orders, Transfer and Repackage Orders).

 

The  button allows viewing the schedule within a day limit.    

 

  

 

The   button allows viewing the schedule within a workweek limit.

 

 

The   button allows viewing the schedule within a week limit.

 

 

The   button allows viewing the schedule within a month limit.

 

 

Clicking on the button displays Print preview window.

 

 

Clicking on the  button allows printing the schedule contents.
