The WMSmart Start Page
The WMSmart Start Page is a main screen of the system. It allows the user to navigate the system database effortlessly.
The Start Page is divided into three main sections:
1. The Main Tree Navigation Section
2. Common Tasks Section
3. Common Reports & Administration Section
Main Tree Navigation Section
The Main Tree Navigation Section is a system browser that serves as a powerful way to take a quick look at the data contained within your system. It organizes and displays your entire system in a hierarchical tree format.
From this section, users can access all the management functions
in WMSmart. The window remains hidden on the left side of the screen, and can be
expanded by clicking on the 
icon.
Each branch of the
system tree contains a brief description of the related part of the system.
Single clicking on any icon will display after the heading a number in
parentheses representing the item count in the listed category. If the item
count is more than zero, the “
”icon appears in front of the tree branch
description. This indicates that there are sub-branches beneath the branch.
Clicking on the “ ” icon
will expand the branch and reveal the items beneath. Those branches can in turn
contain sub-branches. The subcategories can be closed by clicking on
the 
icon.
The bottom part of the navigation tree is divided
into 2 parts:
1. The Account / Company 
Allows viewing and navigating the account tasks:
Inventory Management, Order Management,
CRM, Reports, and Financial
Management.
2. Administration 
Allows switching to Administration by clicking on the Administration segment located at the bottom of the Navigation tree.
Switching between the segments:
At the bottom part of the Navigation Tree, there are 2 arrow signs allowing switching between the 2 segments.
Click on the arrow sign to switch between the segments needed to view on the navigation tree, to show more or fewer buttons, and to add or remove buttons.
Common Tasks Section
This section manages the account tasks. It can be used to access the Inventory Management, Order Management, Contacts Management, and Financial Mangement Management sections as well.
Common Reports & Administration Section
This section allows users to access the WMSmart versatile Reports feature, Administration and General Info.
Note: The Start Page display can be modified to show different modules according to the user's permitted access. The user with limited access will see only the permitted modules.
